Greece's finance ministry on Thursday reported an increase, in February, of arrears by the state owed to the private sector.
According to figures for the general government released by the ministry, arrears in February 2019 reached 1.669 billion euros, up from 1.525 billion euros in December 2018 and 1. 578 billion euros in January 2019.
Meanwhile, outstanding tax returns totaled 480 million euros in February 2019, down from 488 million euros in January 2019.
