A Greek foreign ministry spokesman responded to an earlier statement issued by Austria’s interior ministry, after repeated queries on a meeting in Vienna of countries in southern Europe affected by the ongoing flow of Mideast refugees towards central Europe – a meeting which excluded Athens.
“Repeating a mistake does not make it right, particularly at a critical time like this for the whole of Europe,” was the response by Konstantinos Koutras.
He refers to Vienna’s statement that the “meetings of the countries of the western Balkans, which are being carried out within a framework and with designated participants, are a stable configuration,”
