Hundreds of people have been killed after a powerful cyclone pounded parts of Myanmar.Myanmar's military government declared disaster areas in five states on Sunday after Cyclone Nargis pounded the Irrawaddy delta region. The former capital Yangon suffered a direct hit by the Category 3 storm, which packed winds of 120 mph (190 kph). One diplomat described the city as an "utter war zone." United Nations disaster experts said it would be days before the full extent of the damage was known.
