After successfully docking to the Zarya service module’s Earth-facing port, on the Russian segment of the International Space Station, on 29 July 2021, at 13:29 UTC (09:29 EDT, 16:29 MSK), Nauka’s hatch was opened on 31 July 2021 and Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Novitskiy and Pyotr Dubrov entered the new Multifunctional Laboratory Module.
