"Here's how you can make your own face covering in a few easy steps with items you can find around the house, like an old scarf, a bandana or a hand towel or an old T-Shirt," Adams said, folding the cloth several times and adding two rubber bands to attach it to the ears, creating the desired mask. This video comes one day after the CDC issued a recommendation to use non medical cloth face coverings, while professional masks are to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical staff, as hospitals are running low on PPE.
