The City of Athens Council voted to keep city tax for cleaning, lighting and other categories at the same level in 2022, it said on Monday.
Representatives of different factions asked that electricity bills, where the fees show up, not be raised. Also approved by the council was a proposal to reduce the rate used to calculate tax on properties used for nonprofit or public benefit reasons.
