The rate of increase in Greece's private sector bank deposits continued to rise in May 2021, although at a slower rate than in April 2021, specifically 386 million euros were added to bank accounts last month, while in April the figure was 3.329 billion euros.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, roughly 24 billion euros have been added to bank deposits.
