The Greek government on Thursday appointed Prof. Elias Mossialos as the country's representatives to international organizations now dealing with the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Mossialos had previously served as minister of state and government spokesman in a under then PM George Papandreou from 2009 to 2011.
He is currently the Brian Abel-Smith professor of health policy department at the London School of Economics (LSE).
