Fraport Greece and the Copelouzos group, the majority and minority partners of the consortium that manages 14 regional airports around Greece on a long-term concession, have announced the donation of some 500,000 surgical masks to the country's national healthcare system.
The two sides allocated an equal amount for the donation, which comes amid frantic efforts by public health authorities around the world to procure disposable medical materials.
German-based Fraport AG is the majority owner of the consortium, while Copelouzos group is a major Athens-based conglomerate.
