Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos met with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar on Wednesday evening in Brussels, on the sidelines of a NATO ministers' summit in the Belgian capital.
According to reports, the Greek side cited the importance of "open channels" of communication, as well as what Athens considers actions by Ankara that fuel tension in the wider region.
