The federation representing bank employees in Greece (OTOE) this week announced that it has reached a collective bargaining agreement with bank managements for the 2019-2021 period, with the highlights being, according to the labor group, job security and a “gradual” restoration of previous years’ salary cuts.

OTOE’s board said the agreement, reached late last week, foresees the “gradual restoration of losses, over the three year period, within the framework of a unified pay scale”.

The federation also said bank managements agreed to cut the hours for bank transactions by the public from Monday to Thursday, by half an hour.

If confirmed, banking hours for the public would be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
