Most private sector wage-earners in Greece are not satisfied with their current employment, results of a study by the research institution of the General Confederation of Greek Workers in cooperation with the Alco firm.

The study surveyed 1,000 wage-earners over the age of 17 throughout the country from March 1 to March 8.

Specific parameters queried in the survey included the ability to meet financial obligations exclusively through their remuneration; prospects for improvement in pay; tension at the workplace; balancing labor and free time, and, disparity between the object of employment and the education/experience of wage-earners.

The study's findings come in the wake of an Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development study showing Greece in last place among 33 surveyed countries in terms of "employment tension" and "labor insecurity".
