A light quake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at 19.41 (17.41 GMT) on Monday in a sea region between the Ionian island of Zakynthos and the southwest mainland of Greece. The quake was located some 17 kilometers west-southwest of the town of Amaliada, and at a depth of 27.6 kilometers.
