State and regular budget revenues moved lower than prescribed targets in September 2018, with net revenues in this case reaching 5.36 billion euros, lower by 346 million euros from the goal.

Regular budget revenues reached 5.225 billion euros, missing the target by 79 million euros.

Conversely, over the first nine-month period of 2018, gross state budget revenues exceeded the target by 591 million euros; and by 1.023 billion euros in terms of regular budget revenues.

Nevertheless, 507 million euros of the figure is due to the withholding of tax rebates, as only 2.951 billion euros was returned to eligible taxpayers, out of a budgeted 3.458 billion euros.

In terms of spending, a noteworthy 1.238 billion euros less in public investments was allocated over the Jan-Sep period, than what has been budgeted for the period.
