A line of vehicles extending some 5 kilometers was piled up on the southbound side of the Athens-Lamia highway on Sunday afternoon, during a mass return of excursionists to the Greek capital at end of the weekend.
An overturned truck on the 120th km of highway caused the major traffic jam.
