EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Tuesday morning expressed Brussels' solidarity with Greece in the wake of a string of devastating wildfires that erupted around the greater Athens area a day earlier, which have caused at least 50 fatalities so far.
Juncker promised that the Commission will dispatch any necessary assistance requested by Athens.
