UNICEF on Friday announced that it was suspending its cooperation agreement with the Greek National UNICEF Committee, the international organization's up-until-now representative in the country, citing concerns that arose after an audit was conducted recently by an independent firm.
In a press release, UNICEF said it was led to the decision after considering that necessary reforms in the Greek chapter "cannot be achieved, and for this reason proceeded with the relevant moves."
