Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday reiterated that the next local government elections will not take place under a simple representational system, something passed by a slim government majority in the current legislature.
"They (local government elections) will be held under the current election law, and with a ND government. We won't allow any more games with the institutions," Mitsotakis told delegates at a joint conference in Athens of local and prefectural governments.
