A relevant prosecutor in Athens has reportedly recommended that the latest extradition request by Turkish judicial authorities for eight Turkish servicemen that fled to Greece in the wake of a foiled July 2016 coup in the neighboring country be rejected.
The extradition request, the third sent by Ankara to Athens, was being heard by a council of appellate justices in the Greek capital.
A ruling by Greece's supreme court has previously ruled out the extradition of the eight back to Turkey.
