Greece's foreign ministry expressed the country's deep condolences on Sunday over the deadly explosion in Istanbul the previous evening, reiterating that "...we stand firm by the side of our friends and neighbors."
Condolences were also conveyed by the Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
