The almost “customary” late-night statement by an unnamed finance ministry official on Monday referred to a draft agreement being prepared by creditors' representatives in Athens that will include “observations” by the Greek side.
The unnamed official was quoted in a dispatch disseminated by the state-run news agency.
According to the dispatch, the draft agreement will be presented to the Greek finance ministry late on Monday evening as a basis for further discussions.
The same source merely added, equanimously, that some of the leftist Greek government’s proposals “may be accepted; others may not be accepted, and others may be pushed back…”
