The Greek exporters’ association on Tuesday reported that exports posted a noteworthy increase in September 2016, citing provisional figures by the country’s statistical service, EL.STAT.
The value of exports increased by 16.6 percent, reaching 2.35 billion euros -- up from 2.05 billion euros – over the corresponding month of 2015.
Despite the monthly rebound, the figure for the nine-month period of 2016, however, was down by 3.7 percent compared with the corresponding period for 2015 -- 18.56 billion euros as opposed to 19.28 billion euros in exports from January to September 2015.
