A fire erupted aboard a Hellenic Air Force F16 C Block 52+ fighter jet as it was taxing down a runway at a military airbase on Crete on Wednesday.
The pilot of the single-seat warplane is reportedly hospitalized but out of any danger. An investigation is pending.
