Two Mideast war refugees, including a minor, were killed in a traffic accident on Sunday evening outside a temporary accommodation center in northern Greece. A third individual was injured.
The incident occurred outside a refugee center in the town of Oreokastro, where a number of local residents and primary school pupils’ parents objected to the enrollment of refugees’ children at a local school.

According to reports from the scene, other refugees from within the camp assaulted the driver of the car involved in the vehicle-pedestrian collision. Several cars that were following and stopped at the scene were also vandalized.
Reports state that riot police were headed to the scene.
