Several motions by current television broadcasters in the country requesting injunctions against a recently held auction for national broadcast licenses were rejected by the Council of State, Greece’s highest administrative court.

The television stations have demanded that broadcast licenses be issued for three million euros each.

The decision was taken during an in camera session earlier in the month, with written ruling expected to be issued next month.
