Statistical service: Greek economy still in recession in Q2 2016

On the slightly brighter side, the economy grew by marginal 0.3 percent compared with the first quarter of the year.  In terms of revised seasonal data, GDP fell by 0.1 percent, in terms of volume, in Q2 2016.

The Greek economy remain in recession in the second quarter of 2016, falling by 0.7 percent compared with the same quarter in 2015, according to the EL.STAT statistical service.

On the slightly brighter side, the economy grew by marginal 0.3 percent compared with the first quarter of the year.  In terms of revised seasonal data, GDP fell by 0.1 percent, in terms of volume, in Q2 2016.

The economy shrunk by 0.8 percent in Q1 2016, compared to the same quarter in 2015.
