Russian President Vladimir Putin phoned Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Monday to express his thanks for the hospitality extended to him and the entire Russian delegation during a two-day visit to Athens and Mount Athos, last Friday and Saturday.
The phone conversation was confirmed in a statement issued by Tsipras' office.
