A 5.1 on the Richter scale earthquake was recorded in a sea region in the eastern Aegean on Tuesday evening, 16 kilometers west of the small isle of Tilos, which lies across from the Asia Minor mainland.
The quake was recorded at 23.28 (21.28) at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The EMSC calculated the tremor at 4.8R.
