Four instances of a mutated coronavirus strain, VOC 202012/01, were reported over the weekend in Greece, following a report from Cyprus one of one such case there.
According to reports, the four people detected with the new strain are young adults (under 30) and without symptoms. They had arrived from Britain on two separate flights on Dec. 21 and 22, respectively.
They have been placed in quarantine at a specific hotel.
