Air China on Wednesday announced that it will continue its three-flights-a-week schedule connecting Athens with Beijing over the coming winter season.
Without going into details, the airline's officials referred to brisk air traffic between China and Greece since the route was inaugurated in September 2020, with the prospect of a fourth flight per week considered.
Air China Athens general director Fan Heyun said the company aims to continue to boost tourism flows heading from either country, while calling for a greater promotion of Greece as a holiday destination in the vast Chinese market.
