Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday received the country's nominee as its next European Commissioner, Margaritis Schinas, the up-until-now chief spokesperson for the EU Commission president.
In his brief statements, Schinas emphasized that he will continue to defend the goal of Greece as an equal member of Europe, as well as of a strong Europe.
