The EuroWorking Group on Wednesday, as widely expected, gave its approval for the disbursement of a nearly one-billion-euro tranche to Greece, hours after a positive EU Commission report and ahead of Friday's Eurogroup meeting.
In a subsequent reaction, Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos expressed Athens' optimism that the tranche will finally flow into Greek state coffers, speaking at a SYRIZA party event.
