A 4.5 on the Richter scale earthquake shook the Ionian island of Zakynthos just before 14.00 (12.00 GMT) on Sunday.
According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the quake's epicenter was located 15 kilometers southeast of the port city of Zakynthos, and with a depth of 23 kilometers.
No damages or injuries were reported.
