The opposition in Greece on Monday was demanding explanations from the Tsipras government in the wake of a press report that a Venezuelan government aircraft carrying the strife-plagued country's foreign minister landed at the Athens International Airport on Saturday.
The exclusive report by the Skai broadcaster added the plane remained at the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport for four hours, allowing the Maduro regime's minister to hold meetings.
"Exactly why did it (government) allow the specific plane to land here, when most European countries refused; with whom did (Nicolas) Maduro's representative meet with?" main opposition ND asked, in a press statement.
