The Athens-based Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (IOBE) on Wednesday forecast a GDP growth rate in Greece next year of around 2 percent this year, rising to 2.4 percent in 2019.
According to the foundation's quarterly report, exports, up by 8 percent, are fueling the increase. Private sector consumption, meanwhile, rose in the second quarter of 2018, posting an increase on an annual basis of 0.6 percent.
