Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Yannis Dragasakis met with Titan cement group's CEO Dimitris Papalexopoulos on Friday, hours after the large Greece-based industrial concern said it was moving its corporate headquarters to Belgium and seeking a listing on the Euronext Brussels exchange.
A press release issued by Dragasakis' office said the meeting revolved around the company's "outward looking" direction and an "upgrade of its access to international capital markets."
In a bid to allay reactions that yet another major Greek industrial producer is exiting the country, Papalexopoulos said Titan's presence in Greece will remain unwavering, both in terms of domestic production, job spots and investments, while continuing the secondary trading of its shares on the Athens Stock Exchange.
