Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Thursday will visit the shipping and island policy ministry, with a meeting scheduled with the coast guard's political and institutional leadership.
Tsipras is also set to address coast guard officers.
His visit comes after a particularly serious incident on Sunday in the eastern Aegean, when a Turkish warship attempted to ram a Greek coast guard patrol boat.
