The key dates on the Greek government's calendar for concluding the pending third review of the ongoing bailout start on Nov. 6, when Eurozone finance ministers will receive an official briefing over the course of negotiations, during a scheduled Eurogroup meeting.
Three days later on Nov. 9, the EU will announce its autumn forecasts for member-states' economies.
The leftist-rightist coalition government is expected to table the 2018 draft budget in Parliament on Nov. 21, while creditors' top auditors are set to return to Athens for negotiations less than a week later, on Nov. 27.
The last day of November 2017, Nov. 30, looms large on the finance ministry's calculations, as the day coincides with a deadline for millions of taxpayers and property owners to pay an installment on the now permanent property tax (ENFIA) as well as a monthly installment of income tax and corporate tax for individual taxpayers and business entities, respectively.
Another Eurogroup meeting on Dec. 4 will serve as the venue for presenting whatever progress in negotiations between Athens and creditors. Additionally, Greece's independent statistics authority will announce figures for Greek GDP covering the third quarter of 2017.
