A Syrian man was arrested in the extreme northeast Greek port city of Alexandroupolis on Thursday on suspicion of belonging to a jihadist group operating in the Mideast country.
Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine what, if any, involvement the 32-year-old man had in terrorist activities outside Greece.
