A peculiar burglary involving the theft of expensive diagnostic equipment from a public hospital specializing in cancer patients, and located across the street from the main police headquarters in Athens, was reported on Monday morning.
The equipment, including state-of-the art ultrasound and endoscopic instruments, is valued at 400,000 euros.
The incident was reported at the Aghios Savvas Hospital in central Athens early in the morning on Monday.
