Dep. minister warns of stricter framework for Uber-like providers

According to the relevant deputy ministry, Nikos Mavraganis, "there are companies like Uber who offer transport services in Greece, but which are not taxed."

Greece's transports ministry is reportedly eyeing changes to make the country's legal framework stricter for multinationals offering Internet or app-based transport services, an initiative mostly aimed at Uber-like providers.  

According to the relevant deputy ministry, Nikos Mavraganis, in statements on Monday, "there are companies like Uber who offer transport services in Greece, but which are not taxed."
