Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke by phone separately on Tuesday with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande, with talks reportedly revolving around upcoming multi-party negotiations over a solution to the long-standing Cyprus issue.

Tsipras reportedly cited the significance that a just and viable Cyprus solution entails for improved Euro-Turkish relations, while touching on the crucial role the EU has in the talks, due to commence in Geneva.
