German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier arrives on Sunday in Athens for a two-day visit, with several meetings with Greek leadership planned, including with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, contacts scheduled for Monday.
On Sunday, the German minister will inaugurate the exhibition “Fragmented Memories - 1930-1950”, hosted by the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in the northern port city of Thessaloniki. The exhibition is organized by the Goethe Institute in cooperation with the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki and Berlin’s Deutsches Historisches Museum.
