Archaeologists are now considering the existence of a second monument, smaller than the one already discovered at Amphipolis' Casta Hill excavation, to the west of the latter and at a depth of two meters.

The latest hypothesis comes in the wake of geophysical prospecting results at the site, and presented on Wednesday in Thessaloniki by the director of the Aristotle University's applied geophysical laboratory, Prof. Grigoris Tsokas.
