Εight Turkey military officers who have requested political asylum in Greece remain in custody, as an international arrest warrant was presented to a relevant prosecutor's office and executed.
The warrant was issued and conveyed to Greek authorities by Turkish authorities, via the diplomatic route.
The eight, which the Erdogan regime claims took part or aided the July 15 coup attempt in the neighboring country, had been conditionally freed after an initial ruling by an asylum committee.
