The Greek producers’ composite price index in the industrial sector (measuring both the domestic and external markets) fell 3.0 percent in September this year compared with the same period in 2015, after a 10.4 percent decline recorded in the 2015-2014 period, the Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Thursday.
The statistics service, in a report, attributed this development to a 3.2-percent decline in the domestic market index and a 2.2-percent fall in the external market index.
The composite index grew 0.6 percent in September from August this year, after a 0.5-percent decline recorded in the same period last year.
