Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday continued to snipe at embattled Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, this time in reaction to the latter’s address a day earlier before his ruling SYRIZA party’s central committee members.
“He’s (Tsipras) reverting to an artificial polarization; a bogus division, as well as an extremist speech, which I do not believe correspond with the level of political dialogue citizens expect,” he said from the town of Elefsina, an industrialized district west of Athens proper.
