A moderate 5.2 on the Richter scale earthquake was recorded late Saturday evening in northwest Greece, which was followed by several subsequent strong after-shocks.
Damages were reported in the road network in the Ioannina area. The quake’s epicenter was 12 kilometers northwest of the lake-side city of Ioannina, in the Pogoni district, and was recorded at 23.14 local time (21.14 GMT).
