Civil aviation authority workers' union cancels strike

The union had called the industrial action in protest to a bill tabled by the government this week, which included structural changes in the entity.

A union representing the state-run civil aviation authority's employees called off a strike scheduled for Thursday, after a meeting with the relevant minister on Wednesday night. 

The union had called the industrial action in protest to a bill tabled by the government this week, which included structural changes in the entity.  

Following the announcement, Aegean and its affiliated Olympic Air company announced that all domestic flights will go ahead as planned on Thursday and Friday.
