Unemployment dropped slightly in July 2016, compared to the previous month, standing at 23.4 percent, improved from 24.9 percent in June 2016.
According to the Greek statistical service, EL.STAT, the number of employed people in the country of 11 million reached 3.674 million, with 1.124 classified as officially jobless.
